Unique and original artwork made with vinyl on canvas by Carla Accardi, signed, dated and titled on the reverse.
Carla Accardi was and is one of the most original and influential artists of the second post-war period and is considered one of the greatest exponents of Italian Abstractionism.
Founder of the "Gruppo Forma 1", together with Attardi, Consagra, Dorazio, Guerrini, Perilli, Sanfilippo and Turcato, she created extraordinary artworks in which a deep and systematic research of the sign and colour is highlighted.
This research goes through various phases, from the black and white abstraction of the 1950s, to a recovery of the colour of the 1960s, with an echo of a reference to metropolitan culture, up to the 1980s, in which her language undergoes a further change through the use of signs and chromatic juxtapositions.
The whole research is also characterized by continuous experimentation that is radicalized in the use of transparent plastic supports that accentuate the nature of the painting as a luminous diaphragm.
The artwork is accompanied by authentication on photo and also by our certificate of authenticity, with photo, description, year and dimensions.
